This page displays the main options for searching for and identifying information people and services using SLIR Online.
This option displays a list of organizations which administer information services in Scotland. You can select an organization from the list to browse for people or departments belonging to it.
This options allows you to enter a word or phrase and search for all personal and corporate names containing that word or phrase and associated with Scottish information services.
This option displays an alphabetical list of the names of archive, art gallery, library, and museum information services located in Scotland.
This options allows you to enter a word or phrase and search for all service names containing that word or phrase.
This option displays a map of Scottish local authority regions. You can click on the map to display a list of services located in a specific region.
List Scottish regions and towns A-Z
This option displays a list of regions in Scotland. You can display a list of towns for selected regions, and then a list of services located in selected towns.
This option displays a list of towns in Scotland. You can display a list of services located in the selected town.
To use one of the search options, just click on the hyperlink in the usual way.
